Baronie acquires activities Ashbury

Brugge, Belgium, 10th of February 2015. Baronie, a leading European manufacturer of chocolates, has acquired through Baronie UK Ltd. the business operations of Ashbury Chocolates Ltd., a well known manufacturer of high quality chocolate and toffee confectionary in the UK and export markets .

This acquisition provides Baronie with a solid platform to further expand its customer and product portfolios in the UK.

It further strengthens the position of Baronie as a premier European supplier of branded, private label and third party chocolate products with production sites across Europe and more particularly in Germany, Holland, Belgium and Switzerland.

The transaction does not impact the status of the Baronie Group companies as a 100% privately held independent operator.
